Lee Patterson (amplified objects)
Hannah Marshal (cello) and Tina Hitchens (flute)
Pete Judge (trumpet) and Matt Davis (trumpet)

A rare Bristol appearance for Manchester based sonic alchemist Lee Patterson.

Lee Patterson uses sound making and recording to devise performances with a selection of amplified objects, devices and processes, from rock chalk to springs, from burning nuts to vibrating metal.
Based in Prestwich, Manchester, UK., he works internationally and has featured on UK TV, BBC Radios 3, 4 and 6, Resonance FM and on radio stations worldwide.

Tina Hitchens is an free improviser, composer, and music therapist. She is interested in the peripheries of sound; texture, space and extremes. Previous / current collaborations include Viridian Ensemble, Harpoon, Keith Tippett, Sam Francis, Matthew Grigg, Dominic Lash, Jo Kelly and Luigi Marino.

Hannah Marshall works & plays in music, sound, audio-visual, performance and teaching. A 'Cellist, involved in improvisation and experimental music her playing makes pathways into noise and micro-tonality, as well as standard harmonic aspects of the 'Cello, finding spaces where melody, texture, rhythm & tonality blur. She plays at times with traditional sensibility, and at others times treats the instrument as a collection of parts to be re-analysed.

Pete Judge is a Trumpeter with BBC Jazz Award winners Get The Blessing, ambient-jazz-minimalist duo Eyebrow, cello-and-trumpet duo JOW, and acoustic jazz quartet Uphill Game, as well as multi-instrumentalist with chamber-folk trio Three Cane Whale,  “Pete Judge is a Bristol music phenomenon” (BBC Radio 3's Late Junction).

Matt Davis is a Bristol based musician and artist. He regularly collaborates with, amongst others, Phil Minton, Luigi Marino and Matthew Grigg. Regular groups include Nodosus (with Angharad Davies, Dimitra Lazaridou-Chatzigoga, Dominic Lash and John Butcher) and a trio with Rachel Musson and Mark Sanders. www.f-i-e-l-d.co.uk
