Our aim is simple, to help you run with less pain, more confidence, and to make the experience more enjoyable.
This is a friendly, down-to-earth workshop for anyone who wants to improve their running, whatever your starting point. We’ll explore simple ways to move more efficiently so running feels lighter and more natural, alongside practical lower body strength exercises to support your joints and build resilience.
We’ll also work through mobility and stretching to help your body move more freely, with everything designed to be accessible and adaptable to different abilities and experience levels.
This workshop will be coached by Chris Hardy
Chris’ teaching style is engaging, supportive and fun. He’s got a varied background in movement practices including yoga, animal movements, Contact Improvisation, and various somatically informed practices. Chris brings these influences together in how he trains and holds classes and groups.
The foundations that he focuses on are helping people move well, get stronger, and build confidence. This is about working on our body and mind at the same time. He keeps things practical, challenging (where appropriate!), and tailored to what each person needs.
Get ready for some movements you’ve never done before, curious ways to build strength, and a natural and thoughtful approach to being in a gym setting that has you feel welcome and safe.
