Our Razzomo journey began in 2013 with an open mic night in Pai, Thailand, shortly followed by our 1st gig there and another in India in what's become our 2nd home of Agonda, Goa. Since then we've played 1000's of gigs and festivals all over UK as well as many in India and across Europe including festivals in Denmark and Croatia.
Now after refining our genre-binding high energy folk sound with countless gigs of all sizes for many years, we felt the time was right to record our debut album. We are incredibly pleased with it and it really captures our unique sound with influences rooted in Celtic folk, balkan and klezmer, as well as rock, afrobeat, ska, gypsy jazz and many other styles blended in.

Mike Dennis is a classically-trained violinist whose boyhood love of Run DMC, Beastie Boys and Gangstarr led him to create a unique kind of string-heavy hip hop music he refers to as Violinica.
