A event on Tomorrow. The event starts at 18:00.
Whether you participated in developing the Brislington Community Climate Action Plan, are new to the area, or just want an opportunity to connect with climate conscious folks near you, you are welcome!
Programme:
‘Quick Wins for Climate’ workshop
Would you like to support climate action in Brislington? This workshop will connect you with other local people and support you to collaborate on small achievable actions from the Brislington Community Climate Action Plan. You don't need to be an expert or able to offer lots of time or energy. The aim of the event is to start small to catalyse a community ready to take on more ambitious action. The workshop will be run by award-winning environmental activist and St Anne’s House tenant, Emma Geen.
Land Stories Collective
Sally Azzam and Miranda El Khazen of Land Stories Collective will be sharing the story and flavours of the traditional Palestinian herb, Zaʿatar, connecting locally rooted action with global land justice.
Open Mic Community Exchange
Are you organising for climate justice locally? Do you have a community nature project you’d like support on? A local volunteer needing extra pairs of hands? We’ll be facilitating our regular community exchange space where anyone with a green project to promote, idea to share or request for climate action collaborators can get on the mic and find their people!
Plus, there will be a delicious, pay-as-you-can, shared Spring soup courtesy of Cibomatto Canteen, with some foraged finds from the flourishing green spaces of St Annes.
