St George Community Ceilidh at St George Community Centre

A gig on Sunday 28th July. The event starts at 19:30.

Herd Of Cats ceilidh band are excited to bring you:
ST GEORGE COMMUNITY CEILIDH

Get the summer holidays off to a banging start by dancing your socks off to high-octane trad folk music from Bristol's freshest new ceilidh band, Herd Of Cats. Dance some jigs, reels, polkas and more, led by our inimitable caller April Kirkwood.

In case you haven't heard: a ceilidh (pronounced "kaylee", yay Gaelic spelling) is a traditional folk-music-dance-gathering, involving traditional group dances with friends and strangers. But don't worry — no prior experience or skill is required! April will show you through every dance, and chaos is the name of the game anyway.

Wiggle like worms, flail like felines and balter like butterflies this summer evening at St George Community Centre, just by the park.
There will be a bar, and there will be a half-time circus show!

Tickets:
Adults £10
Concessions £7
Under-12s free
