Courtney Pine with Zoe Rahman at St George's Bristol

A gig held at St George's Bristol on Thursday 31st October. The event starts at 20:00.

Star saxophonist, all-round reeds master and international jazz legend Courtney Pine presents a special unplugged performance of his acclaimed ballads album, ’Song’, with the original recording’s pianist, Zoe Rahman. Playing bass clarinet throughout, Courtney has stripped everything back for some of the most intimate shows of his celebrated career. “I have always wanted to record a collection of my favourite ballads and there is nothing like performing in a duet format for bringing out the intimacy of great songs.” The concert will be performed acoustically, without amplification.
