Courtney Marie Andrews at St George's Bristol
See event details

A gig held at St George's Bristol on Wednesday 27th October. The event starts at 20:00.

For her latest album, Courtney Marie Andrews had to get to know herself again. Describing ‘Old Flowers’ as her break-up album, the singer-songwriter explores grief and optimism with a tender, folk-leaning eye that offers a new, honest perspective on the age-old story of heartbreak.

Andrews’ “stripped back sound gives her impeccable way with words the perfect amount of breathing room” (NME), allowing her “to look back on past loves with ample forgiveness” (Paste). Using songwriting as a healing technique, Andrews preserves each memory like an emotional archaeologist, capturing the spirit of country greats such as Emmylou Harris and Linda Rondstadt.

This is a seated show at St George’s Bristol, Great George St, Bristol BS1 5RR
