Beverly Glenn-Copeland at St George's Bristol

A gig held at St George's Bristol on Wednesday 6th November. The event starts at 20:30.

Singer, composer and transgender activist Beverly Glenn-Copeland is nothing short of a legend. Releasing his self-titled debut album in 1970, his fifty-year recording career has seen him expand on his genre-defying output, mixing synth-experimentation, Detroit techno, minimalistic ambience and the structures of traditional songwriting.

Thanks to an influx of new listeners during his eighth decade, Glenn-Copeland is returning to the stage with his new band, Indigo Rising. Performing tracks from the reissued release of 2004’s 'Primal Prayer '– “a dramatic and heady work” (Aquarium Drunkard) – Glenn-Copeland’s pure musical fusion and life-affirming work will connect with almost any generation.
