Frankie Archer at St George's Bristol
See event details

A gig held at St George's Bristol on Friday 2nd October. The event starts at 19:30.

The ‘utterly hypnotic’ (Quietus) Frankie Archer brings her inspired merging of past and present to St George’s main hall for the first time, and it will be a perfect union. Her music – nu-ancient trad bangers that weave stories into sonic gold – touch on love, grief and mortality. She is an utterly beguiling live presence, other-worldly yet rooted in the lives of ordinary people. Her supremely original sound has pricked the ears of The Guardian, Bandcamp Best Of, NME amongst others, and she has been featured on ‘Later… With Jools Holland’, BBC Proms, BBC Radio 4 Woman’s Hour, and Glastonbury.
