A gig on Saturday 29th April. The event starts at 19:00.

This is a special evening concert put on in collaboration between Ham Farm Festival and West of England Music Alliance (WEMA). It's a rare opportunity to see one of the UK's finest duos on your doorstep for a tiny price, as well as supporting the next generation of musical talent.

8-9pm Paco y Julian, world-class duo perform virtuosic Colombian music on violin and guitar

Julian Gil Rodriguez (musical prodigy and lead violinist of London Symphony Orchestra) and Francisco Correa (internationally acclaimed guitarist) will perform virtuosic and exciting Colombian music on violin and guitar, as seen at Ham Farm Festival last year.

To create this concert programme, first Francisco and Julian carefully curated a list of beautiful and showy pieces from the South-American folklore; they then commissioned arrangements especially for their duo from very sought after composers from Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina. The duo will also perform some of their own arrangements, which mix their highly developed performance skills combined with their deep (indeed native) knowledge of Latin American music styles.

This concert will be STUNNING (as everyone who saw them in July 2022 will attest).

"Paco y Julian was a wonderful display of virtuoso playing"
"such wonderful skills, musicianship: a delight"

About Francisco: "Beautiful sound, rich and solid at the same time, Francisco Correa is a guitarist who knows the guitar and really knows how to make it sound" -Radio France-

About Julian: "Jaw-dropping technique combined with perfect musicality and a sense of fun and adventure"
