Winter Songs 2023 at St James's Priory

A gig on Friday 8th December. The event starts at 20:00.

An evening of winter songs, folk carols and wassails, from the medieval to the modern

Join us for our annual winter charity gig, help raise money for a good cause and feel the seasonal spirit in Bristol’s oldest building. Enjoy mulled wine (non-alcoholic version available) and mince pies, and listen to our original a cappella harmonies of traditional and contemporary folk songs.

St James’s Priory dates back to 1126. it’s a treasure of a building where you can really feel the past.

This year we’re raising money for Roots Independent Street Team. Roots is a volunteer-led charity in Bristol. They make sure that those of us most in need get to eat, but they believe in much more than handing out hot food. They believe in the importance of providing support in the form of reliability, consistency, conversation, kindness and time.

Accessibility: There is level access through the central doors into the church. There is a lift to provide access to the toilets which are in the cafe area, and a disabled toilet is available.
