A gig on Saturday 13th June. The event starts at 19:30.
The Redcliffe Sessions main aim is to raise awareness and support for charities by showcasing local independent musicians in an intimate gig setting. With the church's natural reverb, songwriting is at the forefront of these gigs.
We are excited to welcome Dogsbody with support from Alex Pester for this upcoming gig which is in support of St Mary Redcliffe's ongoing work to improve the accessibility to the Church. A percentage of all tickets sold goes to SMR.

Dogsbody (string theory)
The brainchild of Mimi Jones, whose songwriting has been likened to Jeff Buckley, Elliott Smith and Mazzy Star, Dogsbody craft honest songs with grungy chord progressions; every note is purposeful and every lyric deliberate. Mimi’s jazz-imbued vocals and raw delivery bring the songs into their most intimate form.
Alex Pester
Alex Pester's music was born out of contradictions. The desperate desire to connect through introspection; His songs are diary entries, yet the melodies are welcoming, evergreen. You are unlikely to find him shouting about his work, his performances are mysterious and hard to predict, and yet all 11 of his albums communicate his world, his loves and his fears in technicolor.
