EVE APPLETON BAND

Almost impossible not to dance to” – Warm Sounds

“A Bristol staple and rising quickly” -*** Community Jam Collective*

“One of the most beautiful voices you’ll hear” – Blaise Castle Festival

“Compelling progressive folk songs” - NME (Green Man 2023)

CLAUDINE

Bristol's brand new soft-psych folk-pop five-piece, full of synth sensibilities and songwriting that will interest fans of Wilco, Cate le Bon and Beach House.

“A lush reinvention” – The Gallimaufry, Bristol

DAN PACINI

Dan Pacini is a guitarist, banjo-picker and songwriter from rural Gloucestershire, now based in Bristol. Having played guitar in Hypothetics and bass for Myer U Clark, he now steps forward in his own right with songs that draw from all across the musical spectrum, with a certain folky flavour. He also runs Long Cat Recording Co., host of the monthly alternative folk night at the Star and Dove.

EVA PENNEY

With a sound described as 'hypnagogic' alternative folk, Eva Penney treads an uneasy line between being both captivating and cutting. Over the past few years Eva has been crafting a family of releases and unreleased demo gems; they’re warm and quietly personal and littered with downright odd samples. Her 2024 release 'Orange Mood' received a seal of approval from So Young Magazine's Peter Martin, and 'you sound like the dolphins!' earned her a spot performing at Bristol's own OuterTown Fest.

ZOE MYRNA

Zoe Myrna is an eclectic writer and musician, her creations are an expulsion of the human experience. She is constantly inspired by the parallels of art and nature, reflecting this in her work. Brooding guitar riffs and emotive, powerful vocals, guide listeners to Myrna’s sound.

HANNAH WOOD

Hannah Wood is a Bristol vocalist and songwriter who draws influences from folk, soul and pop to create dreamy, sometimes haunting, sounds. Her melancholic vocals and introspective lyrics offer comfort in our shared struggles, leading fans to describe her music as “a love child between Joni Mitchell and Dido”. Hailed as “a seriously good teller of tales” by Bristol247, her music carries a “delicious spookiness” and a timeless charm.

IN AID OF A GREAT CAUSE

I’m Kimberley Pearson and in just three weeks’ time, I will be walking to Glasgow for Gaza. I am doing this to support three sisters - Hadeel, Heba and Malak – from Gaza, who all have offers to study at Glasgow University this September.

I wholeheartedly believe that we can get them here. The world is an incredibly difficult place for so many reasons at the moment, and often we can feel utterly helpless and powerless.

However, this is a real opportunity to make a difference. This isn’t something I can do alone, but with your help, we can get them here, and I would love for you to have played a part in making this happen.

So far I have raised just over £7000 to get all three sisters here to start their masters we need £105,000. This will cover tuition, living, accommodation and evacuation cost.

They are highly educated, talented women committed to education, equality, and building a better future for their community.

To support Hadeel, Heba, and Malak, please come to this gig, or click the link below — no amount is too small and donations can be made anonymously.

I understand that not everyone can make a donation but if you’re able to help in any way shape or form we would be eternally grateful.

All the love in the world to you

Kimberley
