LUCID BODIES

LUCID BODIES at St.Werburgh's Community Centre

An event on Monday 12th October. The event starts at 18:30.

LUCID BODIES is a monthly improvisational dance class that is designed to connect you and your dancing to the deeper parts of your self. Using somatic dance techniques, you'll be guided through 1 hour of continuous flow with music, movement and expression.

Led by Daniel Myers (@dmyersdance) - a professional dancer with over 10 years of experience in the professional fields of contemporary and improvisational dance, he hopes to bring his well of knowledge to share with you on a journey to improve your own dance, and have a lot of fun whilst doing it!

WHO IS IT FOR?
LUCID BODIES is open to anyone who feels interested, confident or passionate about moving their bodies, and connecting to the flow of dancing freely - you don’t have to be professional! Just carry a deep urge to move and express yourself.

WHAT TO BRING?
All you need to bring is some comfortable clothing, a bottle of water and an open heart. We will be dancing bare feet so also be prepared to show them toes to everyone ;)

WHERE EXACTLY?
It will take place at the St.Werburgh’s community centre for in Bristol. We will be in room 7 which is next to the café area!

BUT I’M AFRAID!?!
That’s totally okey - fear and anxiousness are very welcome in the class. You only need to accept responsibility for your own body and energy and the rest will flow - we will be all dancing together! Be brave!

PRICE?
Standard rate - 10 pounds
Supporter rate - 15 pounds

Looking forward to seeing you there!
