See event details

A gig held at St Werburghs Community Centre on Saturday 18th April. The event starts at 19:00.

Join CitySprout for our big Spring celebration ceilidh!

Music by Slug Band! A Bristol-based folk quintet :)

Ceilidhs are a folk dance. No experience is needed to join - they're all about being fun, imperfect (and sometimes a bit chaotic).

In the lobby: tables to play CitySprout and refreshments.

This is a sober event. Please come with your wonderful sober Spring merth and merriment!

Dress code: plants! Or insects, soil, birds, animals if you're stuck!

Accessibility:

Full wheelchair access in the venue. Wheelchair users are very welcome to join the dances - please adapt dance moves to suit your ability.

This will be a busy night with limited quiet space available, however, there are picnic benches outside the community centre.

All dances are danced genderless.

Due to budget, BSL interpreter will not be present at this event - however, D(d)eaf & HoH people are very welcome to come and copy dance moves from others.

Chairs available.

Entry requirements: no age restrictions (under 18s to be accompanied by an adult over 21yrs, 1:1 ratio)
