Saturday 10.00-16.00 - St. Werburghs Community Centre, Bristol

Whether you’re looking to build up your skill set, empower others or support people in your own family or community, this weekend training gives you the space to connect, share and learn using the tools of creative mentoring and intergenerational communication.

Using imaginative approaches to peer-mentoring, we will gather to build skills for a more resilient, connected & empowered future.

Thriving communities are only possible through skillful & diverse participation… so please join us!

This weekend offers the space to:
- Practice creative tools for community building
- Develop your coaching & mentoring skills
- Listen across generations about things that matter
- Learn effective ways to communicate across difference
- Gather tools for resilience & self-leadership
- Clarify visions for your community and how you can contribute

Creative Mentoring Skills will be facilitated by Lydia Newman, Ben Mali Macfadyen and Kanada Gorla, whose work as mentors, facilitators, artists & activists have led them to create and deliver programmes in communities across the UK and beyond. Collaborations in the South West include Embercombe, Tribe of Doris, Riverford Organic Farmers, Exeter and Plymouth Universities and Edventure Frome.

We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds including those with a lived experience of disability & those who identify as a Person of Colour (POC) and/or Black Asian Minority Ethnic (BAME).

We are offering tickets on a sliding scale from £20, with the option to support others to participate by 'paying-it-forward'. Ticket prices are calculated at £60 to cover venue costs and facilitator fees.
Your booking fees will be donated to help support local social initiatives - This week - https://caringinbristol.co.uk/
