A clubnight held at Strange Brew on Friday 13th May. The event starts at 22:00.
DIRTYTALK presents
Mark Seven (Parkway / World Building)
Wild Donna (Noods)
Dirtytalk Djs
10pm-4am
Strange Brew
Tickets £8 / £10 / £13.50
Dirtytalk welcomes back to Bristol - underground hero Mark Seven!
Mark has been a bit of an inspiration to us over the years, his selections & DJ style have brought the house down at our early intimate parties at The Motorcycle Showroom & at a certain swingers club on the outskirts of town… Clubbing folklore, as they say. From proto-house & italo jams to the deepest house & disco selections, all mixed up in a flawless DJ style. Mark has been digging and trading records for years via his store Jus Wax, and his own Parkway Records label has been at the forefront of shining a light on the early proto-house sound of the mid 80s, where drum machines started making an appearance in NY disco & boogie records. Each Parkway release is of such high quality, similar to his Parkway Mastermix series which we can't recommend highly enough. A true Master!
Wild Donna blew us away recently at the Strange Brew Sunday sessions with similarly deep & classy selections - we’re super happy to welcome them back on warm-up duties for the evening. Check out ‘The Casual Show’ on Noods radio for an idea of what to expect.
DT DJs will be filling the gaps!
Poster by Guillaume De'Ubeda OF COURSE!
