Manchester lyrical maverick Black Josh swerves between vintage boom-bap and 2000s grime/trap styles like he’s been at it since 16, cos he has. With boosts from Skepta, Mouse Outfit and Levelz crew, the Sweg Lawd has secured his UK rap cult devotion.
One of the most outstanding rap lyricists in the UK, Lee Scott has released nine studio albums and several LPs, in addition to being the driving force behind super groups like Cult of the Damned and Cult Mountain. As the co-founder of the legendary Blah Records, his creative energy has helped shape UK hip-hop and launched the careers of many artists over the last seventeen years.
London based mc/producer SonnyJim puts his own twist on UK rap, creating a flamboyant lane of lifestyle rap which sets him well away from his counterparts. Since his 2016 LP 'Mud in my Malbec' garnered the attention of both listeners and critics worldwide he has worked alongside the likes of MF Doom, Jay Electronica, Madlib & plenty more.
