Kiss Facility is the project of Mayah Alkhateri: an upcoming music artist who is Emirati-born-and-raised, and half-Egyptian, & Salvador Navarrete: music producer and artist also known as Sega Bodega. Kiss Facility blends influences from shoegaze and indie rock with cultural Arabic influences of Mayah’s heritage in order to subvert and challenge ideas about identity, creativity and freedom.

In Alkhateri’s own words, “The sole purpose behind the Kiss Facility is for it to be the sound for Middle Eastern women that are oppressed and had to live a double life that leads them to drift away from their dreams. Kiss Facility is a love source and the comfort zone for all the Arab women and anyone who relates to it feel confident in themselves by supporting their own beliefs to empower their own dilemma. We can come out of any difficult situation with love and understanding.”

Entry requirements: 14+, any under 18s accompanied by an adult
