"Sell out warning! Transcendent triple offering for New Musical minds. We’re downright spoiled with rapturous neo-gamelan guitar ensemble Ex-Easter Island Head, Eliana Glass’ truly masterful piano jazz heartache hauntings + AD 93 dream-classical babe Jasmine Wood deconstructed in a Pavel Milyakov style. As good as it gets FFO: Steve Reich, Rhys Chatham, Carla Bley, Karin Krog, Tim Hecker."

Ex-Easter Island Head are a Liverpool-based experimental music collective who compose and perform music for solid-body electric guitar, percussion and other instruments. Their last LP ‘Norther’ was much acclaimed, including being selected as the Quietus’ album of the year. “Among the boldest experiments in British music” - The Guardian.
Composer, producer and multi-disciplinary artist Jasmine Wood and electronic musician Pavel Milyakov aka Buttechno join forces to showcase their vital collaborative work in a performance for amplified grand piano, electric guitar and electronics.
Eliana Glass is a singer, pianist, and visual artist born in Australia, raised in Seattle and based in New York, and makes her Bristol debut tonight. A reverence for leftfield jazz and free improv greats is filtered through her signature nascent, naturalistic sound, capturing the “condensation of everyday life” - bittersweet, ephemeral, and abstract, a distillation of entire lifetimes into song.
