WetWare AudioVisual Performance Night w/ Sakr, AM sin, ex.icon +++ at Strange Brew

A gig held at Strange Brew on Thursday 27th August. The event starts at 19:00.

WetWare's back at Brew for an evening of live audio visual transmissions beamed straight into your eyeballs and eardrums. Bean bags and seats at the ready, so get comfy, lean back, and zone in to the visuals and performers on stage.

Expect a mix of distorted, warped, textured and dubbed out electronic music framed with projections of hyper-detailed frenetic shapes, glitched analog signals and warped footage.

Coming through to Bristol for the first time is AV auteur Sakr. We've been watching and listening to their mixtape and clips with glee. Distorted broken beats and clipped prime sound design pairs with frenetic yet poised visuals that push and pull from noise into unknown organic and near floral shapes.

Next up are AM sin. Hot off the release of their recent EP, SURGE, they bring a blend of lush layered vocal chants and slow-burning modular textures that move from fractured ambience into dense pulsing physical intensity. They're joined on visuals and lighting by Brew's very own LX cryptid, ex.icon. Biomechanical structures and cybernetic glyph magick abound... STROBE WARNING.

And rounding things out, a rare sighting of lifeisfeedback x myr. Reunited on stage for the first time in years, preliminary experiments are leaning into a blend of crunched sludge beats crushing and crashing through walls of haunting noise drones. They'll be accompanied by the heavily glitched live analog video processes of RO.

Line-up:
-> Sakr
-> AM sin x ex.icon
-> ifeisfeedback & myr x RO
