"Sell out warning! EP/65? The legacy of Bristol’s definitive, self-imploding, revolving door experimental/improv ‘band’ continues via documentary screening and 6CD boxset launch. Performances on the nights from Silver Waves, members of Gnod, Tara Clerkin Trio and, of course, Dali de Saint Paul will be in the building."

gig
held at Strange Brew
on Thursday 6th July. The event starts at 19:30.
The Ephemeral Project 64 was born following a dream Dali de Saint Paul had and then realised, playing 64 improvised shows with a wide range of musicians and visual artists over 6 years.
On the 6th July, join Dali and collaborators for an evening to launch the release of EP/64-64, a box set of recordings and images from the 64th and final concert (held in May 2022 at the Arnolfini and featuring over 40 collaborators), in a package designed by Bokeh Versions Industrial and published by TBC Editions, with photography by Simon Holliday.
The programme starts with a premiere of James Hankins’ film ‘64’ (2023, 30’), an experimental documentary of the final concert, followed by improvised live performances between Silver Waves (Silver Waves), Jesse Webb (GNOD), Pat Benjamin (Tara Clerkin Trio), Harry Furniss (Iceman Furniss), Birthmark (Birthmark) and Dali de Saint Paul (HARRGA, Viridian Ensemble, Dark IDL, Ondata Rossa).
Doors 7.30pm, screening starts at 8pm, curfew 11 pm.
