JFS has a busy term of events lined up, and we are delighted to announce that Spring Ting 2024 is happening!
With music scheduled all evening into the early hours, Strange Brew is the place to be on Thursday 9th May! Tell your friends! It's before exam season so no excuses!
We've been able to secure a heavyweight lineup this year that will have you grooving and throwing gun fingers into the night! Featuring JFS house band, Bristol University Jazz Orchestra, TIANNA, Butterjunk, AAAANDDD Snazzback! Then tunes from DOM R on the decks into the morning!

Finally, our charities: we will be donating profits form this event to Music Space, a therapy based charity that uses music as its source of therapy. Available for all ages and located in Bristol having operated as a charity since 1991. Also, internationally, we will be supporting Musicians Without Borders - Musicians without borders is a non-profit organisation that provides music to people affected by conflict and displacement and aims to enact positive changes in the their communities. Founded in the Netherlands and with extensive experience especially in the Middle East musicians without borders prides itself on its upholding of human rights and stresses the power of music in healing trauma.
