The Wave Pictures at Strange Brew
See event details

A gig held at Strange Brew on Tuesday 3rd March. The event starts at 19:00.

Celebrated for their sharp songwriting, unpretentious charm and jaw-dropping musicianship, The Wave Pictures bring their timeless mix of indie rock, blues and off-beat wit to Strange Brew.

More than two decades since forming in Leicestershire, the trio of Dave Tattersall, Franic Rozycki and Jonny Helm remain one of the UK’s most prolific and best-loved bands.

Renowned for Tattersall’s dazzling guitar work and the group’s spontaneous, joyfully ragged live energy, their shows are equal parts craft and chaos – full of warmth, humour and pure musical instinct. With a catalogue spanning 11 acclaimed albums and collaborations with the likes of Stanley Brinks and Billy Childish, The Wave Pictures continue to prove that rock’n’roll’s heart beats loudest on stage.
