Schwet with Dead Space Chamber Music & O.G. JIGG at Strange Brew

A gig held at Strange Brew on Tuesday 31st August. The event starts at 19:00.

Schwet proudly invites Dead Space Chamber Music to take the stage at Strange Brew for the first time (again...). Joined by the mythical O.G. JIGG for an evening of Celestial Dark Britannica and Semi-Trad Medieval Trax! Come ye sinners, out of the cold for an evening of dank ambient, Fungi worship and Mead-based merriment.

“They have achieved the Goddess-like majesty of Dead Can Dance in our humble district of Avon. The spectre of early music, regional proverbs and Welsh folklore looms large in their music...A beating dark heart of pure dream-drama and past rituals - easily one of the best live acts Bristol has to offer" - RWDFWD

"Fresh, ancient and relentlessly innovative, Dead Space Chamber Music embody the transportive power of music" - Louder Than War

O.G. JIGG is a bridge between past and future, between cultures and traditions.

O.G. Jigg is 67 years old. He lives alone. He is overweight, with a healthy white-grey beard. What hair he has grows in long wisps about his head. He wears small, round glasses with gold frames. He has ink-stained fingers. He is most commonly seen wearing a dark maroon, quilted satin dressing gown over green corduroy trousers, carrying a crystal glass of whiskey. His breath smells like a dog's arse. He is very friendly though.
