“Free session, on the 4th Sunday of every month. We will meet at 5:45pm for tea and coffee, then start the session at 6pm. We will then follow a pattern of 5 minutes of chanting followed by 10 minutes of mindfulness breathing meditation; a pattern which will repeat three times. We will be using chants from a variety of world traditions. Facilitated by Paul Wheeler and Mark Stewart. All welcome, come and give it a go!”

“Once we knew them as Krasa, then they metamorphosis into Maramos before settling on their latest back-to-basics monicker. What’s not changed of course is the fire in their Balkan dance rhythms and the spirit of soaring solos on accordion, violin, clarinet and bass and you don’t need to be getting married to appreciate them.”

“Expect perfected classical technique and performance skills playing a variety of genres ranging from Bach, to Mozart, to Schubert and Elgar. On top of this, anticipate a jazz big-band, combos and even some sultry solo sax. The evening is going to be wildly diverse with one common thread, the talent of all the students performing. The performers make up part of Bristol Pre-Convervatoire who cultivate the musicality of the next generation.”
