Eyebrow at The Architect
See event details

A gig on Wednesday 1st April. The event starts at 20:30.

Using only a drumkit, a trumpet & a small collection of stomp-boxes, Eyebrow produces an orchestral sound that encompasses elements of jazz, minimalism, ambient music, electronica & far beyond.

Known for their hypnotic drones & bold melodies, the duo - trumpeter Pete Judge, of BBC Jazz Award winners Get The Blessing, and drummer Paul Wigens, best known for his work with cult-legends Blurt and The Blue Aeroplanes - are exploring new directions with the new album, whilst maintaining their fingerprint sound of lyrical trumpet dancing across mesmeric drums.

Released at the end of March, the album looks out across the sprawl of Bristol and summons up a new mythology.

Eyebrow’s soundworld is seductive and distinctive, and the perfect backdrop for Hamp’s sonorous and quietly epic word-pictures. An evening not to be missed.
