Jonah Hitchens @ Bristol Jazz Club at The Architect

A gig on Wednesday 2nd July. The event starts at 20:30.

Join us for an evening of mellow vocals, swirling guitar, groove and bucketloads of charisma.

Steeped in the soul, Jonah studied jazz at Trinity Laban, the prestigious London conservatoire whose alumni include Fela Kuti, Joe Armon-Jones and Moses Boyd. His developing talent has already seen him play The Jazz Cafe (London) and the infamous Ronnie Scott's.

“ …blending soul, funk, psychedelia and jazz into a single exhilarating mash-up. If Curtis Mayfield jammed with Jimi Hendrix, this is what it might sound like.”

Jonah's exhilarating take on Jazz fuses sounds of the freewheeling 60s with the cool vibes of the early 70s.
Confirmed in the line-up for Glastonbury Festival, July's Jazz Club is an opportunity to catch a special set from Jonah in a more intimate setting.

Backed by celebrated drummer James Fukes, expect a full, groovy sound at Bristol Jazz Club.
