NEW TOWN KINGS

"Nice work from the New Town Kings...the best of Brit reggae' David Rodigan MBE, BBC Radio 1Xtra

Ska reggae collective New Town Kings are an Essex based band of upstarts who emphatically blend old school Jamaican rhythms with a fresh dose of UK inspired ska.

The eight piece have rarely taken it easy it when it comes to travelling the world with their own brand of ska, having clocked up over 500 shows across 10 different countries since their formation. Their punk rock ethic and extensive touring schedule has seen them perform at the likes of Boomtown Fair, Secret Garden Party, The HMV Forum and a whole host more and the New Town Kings tour bus shows no sign of slowing down with further plans in progress for 2015.

NIGHTS // Feat. Fernquest

NIGHTS are now a 2 piece from Newport, Wales. Formed by Antony J Smith and Mikee Gregory.

The new project started off as a one off collaboration project between NIGHTS, Fernquest & Eaton. Very quickly, it became apparent that their was a certain magic that wasn't being created individually. The 4 guys locked themselves in their studio for 3 weeks, writing, recording and producing the tracks themselves. Their debut E.P. was written with ease and a start on their live show was born.

Only having been together for a month, they have already written and recorded an EP themselves, performed shows including Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen and Bucks New Uni and are currently receiving support from local station DJ's, Adam Walton @ BBC Radio Wales and Shay @ Nation Radio. They are also booked for Focus Wales Festival, showcasing all the best in new Welsh music.
