FAT HAT presents a night showcasing Bristol's finest live Hip Hop. Expect bars and beats of the highest caliber, with one of Bristol's most exciting DJs - Indian Man, holding down proceedings between and after the bands. £4 Entry.

**ALMATIC**
Almatic are a Hip Hop 5 piece based in Bristol, although the term Hip Hop is too simple. Effortlessly melding styles including Neo Soul, Folk and Breakbeat to create a truly captivating high-energy show with moments of intimacy crafted into each performance. Fronted by rapper Olly Hobaps who’s formidable skills as a conscious wordsmith create a perfect balance to the hauntingly beautiful tones of singer Katie Riddle. Combine these two with a background of next-level percussion, intelligent keys and infectious bass lines and you have an innovate live-outfit pushing the envelope and creating banging tunes.
Excelling in their first year, from their debut headlining the Attic in Bristol to packed out festival shows including Boomtown, Shambala and Beatherder; which helped grab the attention of Diplomats of Sound who now have Almatic on their roster. Almatic are continuing to raise the bar in 2018.

Having evolved organically from their live Cypher sessions; DeCyphers are a Bristol-based Hip Hop band which blend their original compositions with classic funk and jazz influenced breaks to create something unique. Fronted by MCs G00se and Social
Conscience, they combine virtuoso musicianship with complex lyricism to create music which has a richness of depth - but full of energy and able to keep the dance-floor moving.

Indian Man has performed at festivals internationally such as WOMAD as a resident DJ (Santiago, Chile), Glastonbury (UK), Goulash Disko (Croatia), River To River (Italy) Shambala, Latitude, Boomtown, Nozstock, Port Eliot and many more, blending his inspirations from the east and west, driving all crowds Bhangra dance crazy.
Rejected by his family in the Punjab for his immense passion for jazz, garage and hip hop (also fleeing from an arranged marriage and forced traditions), he is on a mission to share Urban Bhangra with the masses.
He spins anything from Bhangra classics to garage filled grooves combined with his mother-tongue twisting lyrics. His bass-filled jams and hip hop drops will make it irresistible for you to join him on this dancedelic journey from the Punjab to the UK.
