In 1998 Greg Dread started the Dreadzone Sound System as a way of taking the acclaimed club night Dubwiser on the road as an alternative to the live show. The following years pushed the DJ perspective further and ensured that they stayed at the cutting edge, leading to the DJ mix album Beatz and Bobz Vol.4 on the label Functional dropping in 2005.

In 2008 ,having built a reputation as a rocking DJ experience Dreadzone Sound System key players are still:-

Greg Dread -founding member of Dreadzone and boss DJ.

MC Spee Dreadzone's enigmatic frontman with unique skills as MC and singer.

This unit has been raising the roof on tour with Dreadzone and the Soundsystem far and wide over the last few years. So far the unique West London sound has represented all over the UK and worldwide bringing bass and beats to many different crowds.

Dread Sound ? 21st century dubwise breaks, sexy beats, basslines, dub and dubstep, mashups and bootys, drum and bass, reggae, electro, freestyling party tunes, classics and of course Dreadzone original material.

BBC Slam Poetry Champion and Farrago UK Slam Champion, Dizraeli has toured the world as a rapper and spoken word artist.

Described by Venue Magazine as"a true folk hero, capturing the truth of our times with groundlevel honesty", Dizraeli leads the groundbreaking hiphop band Dizraeli and the Small Gods, and with DJ DownLow has supported hiphop icons The Pharcyde, Mos Def, Foreign Beggars and Beardyman in the last year. He's written 3 hiphop plays, including the Edinburgh Fringe award-winning Rebel Cell.
