Founded in Bristol in 2015, Saffron is a non-profit organization advancing gender equity in music tech. They nurture safer spaces for underrepresented and marginalised people to learn, create and grow confidently in music production, audio engineering and DJing. Saffron has engaged thousands of women and gender expansive people in accessible music tech courses, artist development, mentoring, community building and workshops. Their impact is diversifying the entire ecosystem - not just helping artists make music, but training the next generation of producers and engineers who shape culture behind the scenes.
