South African jazz harmonica player and pianist Adam Glasser has released two critically acclaimed albums - 'Free at First' (2010 SAMA Best Modern Jazz Album)and 'Mzansi' (nominated 2012 SAMA Best Jazz Album) and performed with a wide range of leading UK jazz musicians including Jason Yarde and Gareth Lockrane and international artists including Hugh Masekela, Sting, Joe Zawinul and Incognito. Adam is one of the few exponents of jazz harmonica and South African township jazz piano. This gig will present a mix of South African jazz standards and unusual contemporary compositions drawn from his featured quartet and sextet gigs earlier this summer at the Brecon Jazz Festival.
