After an extended Christmas break, the Revinyl team are back and ready for the first session of 2019!

To kick off this brand new year we have invited the Cosies boss man and reggae riddim extraordinaire Frankie Downbeat (aka Kamaha) down to play a funk and soul vinyl set at one of our favourite watering holes, The Bell.

Alongside being resident selector for Bristol based roots veterans Downbeat Melody he has had a stream of vinyl releases on labels such as Cubiculo Records, Digi-Tal and his own imprint, Roots Factory. Though we know his energetic dancehall productions are proven to mash up any dance, we can’t wait to hear what he packs in the bag for this groove riddled funk and soul session.

As always, these Revinyl Sessions have an open-deck, open-genre policy so anyone can come and play whatever wax they like. Our aim is to bring people together through an appreciation of the vinyl format and it doesn't matter if you don’t have much experience, we aim to be a platform for people to go from bedroom DJ to playing out more regularly. If you are interested in playing at this event please express your interest on the event page or through the Revinyl Sessions Music Group.

Peace & Dubs.
