Dharma Burns

The sound is in the name of the band: reality on fire. Sizzling acoustic grunge duo mixing vulnerable and intimate folk songwriting with raw, volatile alternative music. Harmonies meet gritty guitars arriving at a musical blend we think you'll like.

CS Fly

You want head-nodding, hip-manipulating and soul-stirring? You got it in the shape of the mind-and-body workout from Bristol rock'n'roll band CS Fly. A one, a two, a three and go! Let the shaking all over commence.

Yo Hablo

Country-punk-psych-disco band? Yes, that's right. Yo Hablo — a Bristol-based five-piece fusing country, punk, psychedelia and disco. Think the gothic rock of The Gun Club meets the fiery blues of The Amazing Snakeheads with a smattering of dancefloor beats.

Kal

Like to be serenaded in tones of all that's jazzy, soulful, emotional, tender and rhythmic? Original Xpress Fest co-founder Callum Cox (Kal) slaps the strings of the guitar — and is known to tug the strings of your heart.

Joe Blow & the Shmoes

Harmonies calling and responding. Finger-picking guitar playing. Grit, harmonica and honesty are the trademark sounds of Joe and company.

Heavily inspired by Elliott Smith, Jackson C. Frank, Nick Drake and blues artists from the early 20th century such as Piedmont blues artist Blind Boy Fuller and Delta bluesman Bukka White.

Gerry Rowe

Singer-songwriter Gerry Rowe is a big fan of clever chord progressions and clever lyrics — and he writes both. With a repertoire that includes Kinks classics, French chanson, and original personal observations about mental health and the mental health system.

Roughly Tuned

Bluesy, Hendrix-style guitar licks and funky beats — original acoustic tracks and scorching arrangements. This is Bristol grassroots music on motor-speed. Enjoy.
