Seasonal Snacks with Gabriella English at The BookCellar

A event on Thursday 30th July. The event starts at 18:30.

Join the BookCellar team for our very first cookery demo with food writer and recipe developer Gabriella English.

"Whether it’s a cheeky bite between meals, a shared nibble over a bottle of wine or something to keep your taste buds busy while you’re watching TV, the humble snack is all things to all people. In this comprehensive homage to snacking, Gabriella English encourages you to treat yourself to something more than a bag of gourmet crisps. Raise the bar with 52 quick and easy recipes that are guaranteed to hit the spot.

From parma ham caprese roll ups, smoky kale crisps and jalapeño cornbread muffins to cheesy seeded crackers and a whole host of delicious dips, these recipes are as perfect for summer picnics as they are to have with drinks or as a lunchbox treat. You’ll never be short of snack inspiration again. So give in to those nagging hunger-pangs, feed that case of the munchies, and let Seasonal Snacks transform your grazing game.

Seasonal Snacks is the latest title in our best-selling Seasonal cookbook series, which aims to solve every possible meal-time dilemma, all year round."

Gabriella English is a cookery writer, recipe developer and food stylist from Bristol. After a lifelong obsession with cooking (and snacking), she graduated with distinction from Leith’s School of Food and Wine. Her work has appeared in DeliciousOlive MagazineSous Chef and Time Inc amongst others. Seasonal Snacks is her first book.

At the BookCellar we believe that the only thing better than a book is a glass of wine to go along with it. Gabriella will be cooking with pork and haloumi so we've paired the evening with a muscadet; a light, crisp and zesty profile to compliment the savoury notes of the meat and cheese.

Gabriella will be preparing both meat and vegetarian options. Please inform us ahead of time if you have any particular allergies.
