Some more info.....

Lughnasadh (loo-na-sa) is the Celtic fire festival, which intersects Summer Solstice and Autumn Equinox. It is the first summer harvest when the seeds of spring have flourished and become the life-giving energy that sustains us.

The name, Lughnasadh, comes from Lugh, the god of justice and mischief, and Nasadh, tribal gathering.

We mark the passing of time and give thanks to our star for giving us the energy to help grow and provide sustenance for our lives on earth.

What will the day look like?
We will have delicious food and drink, including wood-fired pizza and cakes, a raffle, games + prizes, children's workshops and a puppet show, live music from amazing local artists and a brass band, a Farmology procession, Morris dance, a fire ceremony, and much much more!

What this represents for Bridge Farm is giving thanks for a land that we hold sacred. Here, we are cultivating and harvesting community, a future where we are able to sustain ourselves through the adversity of climate change and threats of ecological collapse. A haven for wildlife and humanity.

Right now we are calling everyone who has planted seeds of hope in this project on board to launch our community fundraiser to help keep and grow the farm into its intended vision. Whether you're new to our community or just curious, or been part of our community from the beginning, please come share this day with us!

We can only do this with *YOUR* help!

So join us in celebrating this festive day and life!
