Tex Braithwaite & The Biriani Brothers at The Bristol Fringe
Free Entry

A gig held at The Bristol Fringe on Sunday 14th December. The event starts at 17:30.

For those who have never heard of Tex Braithwaite suffice to say he is an enigma, even to himself! So please enjoy this introduction to Tex as he re-visits the wonderful music of Hank Williams, Bing Crosby, Frankie Lane and many other classic country performers of yesteryear.

For those who have never heard of Tex Braithwaite (and let’s face it, his own mother didn’t recognise him until his 47th birthday) suffice it to say he is an enigma, even to himself! Tired of endless, some would say, pointless, touring with his trusty band and compadres (The Biryani Bros), conned and betrayed by everyone including his manager, (Ex Manager!) (Randy Swindler) and his wife (Dolly Doublecream), Tex has decided to re-launch his career.

It would be nice to say he doesn’t need the money, but in fact he does- desperately! (The 'Lotto' money is all gone now, thanks to Dolly and Randy's latest 'expenses' claim!))

So please enjoy this introduction to Tex as he re-visits the wonderful music of Hank Williams, Bing Crosby, Frankie Lane and many other classic country performers of yesteryear. Listen to the tales of Tex’s struggle to remain positive in the face of betrayal and crushed dreams. For an ‘unforgettable’ experience, Tex Braithwaite promises you a great night/day out with top quality entertainment.

Entry requirements: no age restrictions
