A gig held at The Bristol Fringe on Sunday 20th April. The event starts at 20:30.

Sophie Rose is a storyteller with one hell of a story. Born and raised in the working South West of England, Sophie’s unmistakably raw vocal and honest songwriting bring tales of overcoming, healing and strength. Sophie’s debut single ‘Healing in the Burn’ hit the #1 spot on the iTunes UK Country charts, shortly followed by showcasing EP ‘To the Core’ at VISION @ O2 Academy Bristol. In an interview on BBC Introducing Oxford, Sophie discussed the messaging behind the music, relaying the importance of kindness and ‘paying it forward’. Now, after opening for Morgan Wade at Albert Hall in Manchester, and the release of her new single 'Where Did Your Head Go?' Sophie's strive towards an album release is in full swing.

In 2024 Sophie set up Coffee Shop Sessions, a writer's round event series, hosting grassroots country and americana artists in the south west of England and further afeild, reaching as far as hosting East Nashville based artists Amelia White and Jon Byrd. The series raises awareness and donations for Maybe Charity, a mental health charity based in Bristol.

Performing up and down the UK at events such as Buckle & Boots in Manchester, Country on the Clyde in Glasgow and playing venues from the Hard Rock Glasgow to The Fleece Bristol, the answer to 'where are you based?' remains somewhat of a guessing game for an artist committed to perseverance, pushing through the noise and reaching beyond the man-made limits she refuses to be held down by.
