Many years ago, in a City, far, far away a young Ben Summers began putting quality nights on featuring the very best in 60's & 70's Soul, with a twist . . . they didn't have to be rare, they just had to good & of course, Seriously Soulful. Living closer to Paris than London, Paul Thrower made the regular pilgrimage to these nights, as they were always interesting & often different !
Fast forward to 2012 & a chance meeting in Bristol brought the 2 back together, realising that this was now home the topic quickly moved to 'where is the Soul in the City' ???
Well 2013 saw the Seriously Soulful team in action for the first time & a home for Soul is hopefully being carved in the suburbs of Clifton . . . so if you like your music Seriously Soulful, can I suggest you check the events Ben & Paul put together & head to hear those 'purveyors of the good groove' . . . you just might like it !
