Sophie Rose is an independent artist from South Gloucestershire who's unmistakably raw vocal and honest songwriting bring tales of overcoming, healing and strength. Her debut single ‘Healing in the Burn’ hit the #1 spot on the iTunes UK Country charts, shortly followed by showcasing her EP ‘To the Core’ at the O2 Academy Bristol. In an interview on BBC Introducing Oxford, Sophie discussed the messaging behind her music, relaying the importance to her of kindness and ‘paying it forward’.

Sophie currently co-runs 'West Country Circle' in Bristol, a grassroots collective facilitating networking, community and events for musicians in and around Bristol primarily in Americana, Country and Blues genres.

As part of this, Sophie set up 'Coffee Shop Sessions' a series of writer's round style events and teamed up with Coffee#1 to create warm and inviting storytelling music evenings in non-alcohol centric environments, whilst raising funds and awareness for Maybe Mental Health Charity.

Performing at venues and events up and down the UK including Hard Rock Glasgow, Buckle & Boots Festival, Country on the Clyde, The Fleece Bristol, Bristol’s O2 Academy and many more, the road is just beginning.
