Jon Amor Trio at The Bristol Fringe
See event details

A gig held at The Bristol Fringe on Thursday 12th December. The event starts at 20:30.

UK vocalist and guitarist Jon Amor, formerly of award-winning British band The
Hoax, has joined forces to form Jon Amor Trio. Drawing inspiration from the Blues greats of the past like Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf, as well as contemporary acts like The Black Keys and Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, the group's sound is powerful and raw, and has been opening doors
for them across Europe ever since their debut album was released.Amor returns to his collaborative roots with JABG. The band's chemistry & showmanship both on record and on stage is receiving critical acclaim both abroad & here in the UK. The guitar-playing, which brought Amor to prominence with his first band during the nineties, and fresh energy of JABG is captivating audiences
wherever they take to the stage.
"Taking just two weeks to nail this debut, something has evidently clicked in this Tine up. Somewhere between Muddy Waters and The Black Keys, this is an exciting
sound."
