A gig held at The Bristol Fringe on Thursday 26th July. The event starts at 20:00.

Maple syrup presents has a new venue in the heart of Clifton The Bristol Fringe Bar/Cafe. This beautiful venue has sofas, stage and bar garden it's sure to be a new Clifton music hot spot!

Emily Teague a very talented songstress and a Venue magazine favourite for good reason. Her lyrics, her melodies, her sophistication and charm puts her head and shoulders above many others. I am also happy to welcome Nicholson Heal. This Bristol-based songwriter and his accomplices at times capture the same attention to introversion and songcraft as M. Ward or Bright Eyes, while at others they revel in joyful bounce-up-and-down indie pop melodies. From the humble and heartfelt ukulele-fronted'Why the Caged Bird Sings', to the the whimsical stomp-along swamp blues (and live favourite) 'Monkeys on Drugs', these songs are infused with ear-catching melodies and lyrical invention, creating a distinctive sound for themselves quite apart from the prevalent hallmarks of the contemporary indie scene.

8 till late and 2 pounds for a evening of music!
