Uphill Game
Jake McMurchie - Saxophone
Pete Judge - Trumpet
Riaan Vosloo - Double Bass
Matt Brown - Drums
Uphill game are a contemporary acoustic jazz quartet led by double-bassist Riaan Vosloo (Nostalgia 77, etc), and featuring the superb drummer Matt Brown (6161, Run Logan Run, etc) plus the legendary horn section from Get The Blessing (that's Jake McMurchie on saxophone and Pete Judge on flugelhorn). Riaan's choice of tunes is always a delight and a surprise, and the band's obvious synergy belies their infrequent get-togethers.
