See event details

A gig held at The Bristol Fringe on Wednesday 5th November. The event starts at 20:00.

Drawing from jazz, folk, and classical traditions, Lorikeet crafts an invigorating soundscape where spontaneous creativity and transatlantic influences breathe new life into folk music. Their arrangements balance raw emotion with experimental textures, forging a unique and immersive sonic experience.

Rosanna Shura (The Puppini Sisters) delivers unflinching narratives exploring themes of heartbreak, struggle, and the search for freedom. Heather Truesdall (Jetsam) brings fearless, emotive cello lines that intertwine with close vocal harmonies. Dave Smith (Robert Plant) drives the music forward with groove-heavy rhythms influenced by jazz and hip-hop, creating an irresistible pulse that makes Lorikeets sound instantly engaging.

Tickets only £10 or £12 on the door!

Entry requirements: 14+, any under 18s accompanied by 21+ adult 1:1 ratio
