Heavy Pictures Presents is teaming up with Zinezilla to showcase two cult films with two very different histories.

Cat City tells the story of Hungarian cats and rats joining together to eliminate mice around the globe. But little do they know, the mice have a secret agent, Nick Grabovsky, on their side.

Influenced by James Bond, Danger Mouse, and the Western cartoon styles of Don Bluth and Tom and Jerry, Cat City is a charming, exciting ride filled with sassy dialogue, beautiful imagery, delightful characters, and an insanely catchy musical number.

Cat City has been a cult hit in Eastern Europe since its release, but only a small number of Western eyes have seen it with an audience.

Heavy Pictures Presents is proud to showcase this beautifully remastered treasure. Restored by the Hungarian Film Archive and lovingly released by Deaf Crocodile.

Godzilla (1954)

The one that started it all. Bursting onto Japanese screens 72 years ago, Godzilla is the original story that birthed the longest-running franchise in movie history.

The West’s relationship with Godzilla has always been… interesting. Heading to the United States in 1956, it was released in a heavily edited, "Americanized" version with over 20 minutes of footage cut out—mostly the anti-nuclear messaging and mentions of the bomb.

Brits only had access to this version, and even then, the BBFC deemed it an X. In 2005, 48 years later, Godzilla was finally released uncut.

Zinezilla wanted to pay homage to the big guy himself, who continues to inspire to this day.
