It’s a delight to have Rashad back in Bristol for the first time since performing solo and manning the sound desk all weekend at the legendary Schimpfluch Extreme Rituals weekend at the Arnolfini five years ago. His recent cycle Traditional Music Of Notional Species has been released across two volumes on PAN records - “one of the most fantastic, imaginative records of this century so far” (Boomkat). “Probably the closest thing we currently have to a disturbing glimpse through a rupture in the fabric of reality. Also on the night: new works for multiple 16mm loops, reel to reel and voice from Louisa Fairclough, and improvised rhythm pressure and live projections from Kinlaw and Bristol Diving School.
