The breaks are a 10 piece band that will play you powerful, jazz infused hip hop and funk with an aggressive energy and vibes, all for positive change in society. They call it 'anarcho-soul'. Hailing from within ten miles of one another in the Wild West of Hereford HR2 they have been kicking out the jams and making audiences jump and sing along with gusto!! Influences include Miles, Sonny Rollins, Fugazi, Wu Tang, Sun Ra, Herbie Hancock, Ganja Krew, Minor Threat and Azalea Banks.

The Breaks are into Transition, Community, growing local and the Abolition of Oppression. Their call is to stand firm, unite, and dance. No parasan. Come down and join the movement!
