Mary & the Minatones are a brand new Bristol-based band playing original soul music with raw energy, like finding a record you never knew you’d been missing. Fronted by singer-songwriter Mary Mina, the band builds on the warmth and groove of classic soul, but the songs are the point: sharp, witty and full of stories you won’t hear anywhere else, and delivered with heartfelt vocals and a vibe that pulls you onto the dance floor. With their debut EP Vignettes on the way, this is a chance to catch them early, before everyone else finds out.
