An event held at The Canteen on Sunday 25th October. The event starts at 14:00.
An extra workshop!! A very special seasonal repeat we which had to squeeze in!!
Join us in making some spooky/ delightful headwear for Halloween. They'll be premade bonnets (made with second-hand fabrics by me!) and you're invited to adorn your hat with 3D features and even beads& buttons and embroidery.
All materials are included, and all sewing skill levels welcome!
What to expect:
- A laid back and social environment,
- Materials and resources to make with,
- Support and guidance throughout - learn the basics & make something cool!!
This workshop is a little more expensive as it includes more materials and a longer prep time, if this is inaccessible to you, please let me know and we can try to arrange a different set-up.
The Slow Fashion Social is our monthly workshop run by Weaving Change, it takes place on the first Sunday of the month at the Canteen - exploring textile craft using second-hand materials.
ACCESS: The venue is on the ground floor of the canteen, with ramp access. Noise and temperature can vary in this venue, but there is no live music playing during our workshop. Please contact us about any other access requirements and we will try our best to accommodate!
